Mastic Sealants
Somafix mastic sealants can be applied to a great many projects within the construction and building industry, especially in areas were you require a sealant to either protect an area to which it is applied or joining one surface to another surface. Mastic sealant is particularly good in these areas as it provides a degree of flexibility allowing the items to bend while still maintaining a durable bond.Mastic sealants are a very versatile product that will adhere to almost any product surface or material and work really well with such materials as glass, aluminium, concrete and steel. Due to its flexibility mastic sealant is often used in project areas which include sealing the gaps around sinks and bathtubs, filling in the gaps around windows and general repairs to cracks in different types of masonry.
The Somafix range of mastic sealants can be used for both indoor and outdoor projects, they can be easily smoothed and levelled, in most instances they do not require the area to be primed and can be over-painted. They are waterproof and resistant to both low and high temperatures as well as providing good weathering and ageing resistance.
