Liquid Nails
Liquid nails from Somafix is a brand of very strong adhesive that is designed specifically for bonding and holding almost all materials. These high strength adhesives provide and exceptional bond with increased strength and rugged durability making the highly suitable for the most demanding of DIY and Construction projects.
At Somafix we have a couple of Liquid Nails products, the first of which is a solvent free and waterbased acrylic adhesive which adheres to all common building services. It is easy to apply, over paintable and forms a permanent water repellent layer once it has cured. Its extremely high bond strength makes it highly versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications, including bonding plasterboard to wood, UPVc, ceramic tiles, installing wooden construction elements, and panelling. This product is also suitable for the adhesion of polystyrene tiles and polystyrene foams.
The second product in our Liquid nails range is our single part, polyurethane based construction adhesive, once again the product is solvent free and once cured provides the bond with outstanding resistance to water, temperature, weathering and ageing conditions. Again the polyurethane version of our Liquid Nails product is easy to apply and over paintable, its extrememly high bond strength once again provides for a versatile construction adhesive suitable for a much wider range of applications. Powerful bonding of wood and derived wood products, Chemical anchorage in building construction, Bonding of Insulating materials including expanded polystyrene and polyurethane sheets and Fire proof panels to name but a few.
